For my Illustrating the Edible class I had to do two illustrations based on a Baltimore food truck assigned to me. I wound up getting assigned to the Grrche food truck, which sells grilled cheese sandwiches. In the first illustration I had to include the food truck in any way I wanted, and in the second I was free to do whatever, just as long as it was somehow related to the food truck. These two illustrations are what resulted.

UPDATE (Oct.7, 2011): Posted the third part of this assignment, which was to design a logo for a website about Baltimore food trucks.

"Lynn's Wonderfully Delicious Homemade Pancakes"

This is an illustration to a pancake recipe my best friend's mom makes. It was an assignment for a class I'm taking, called "Illustrating the Edible." I had to illustrate a homemade recipe that I have fond memories of making and/or tasting. When I was little Lynn would always make my friend and I these pancakes, and I remember they were so delicious we would try to see how many we could eat in one sitting. I think the most I managed to eat was 5... but I don't exactly remember.
